Very sad news to head into the weekend, with the announcement that neuroblastoma has taken young Bradley Lowery. We join with the many, many others around the country and further afield who commemorate and remember the short but powerful life of this Sunderland superfan.

He serves as a reminder of human spirit and compassion, as well as a stalwart of optimism and inspiration.
